For @revolvingfanatic
I decided to draw this because Death's father is this guy in one of my AUs, and I can't help but imagine him in the fic (Thank you Autism, very much). Chaos, being a former mortal and being the one who understands how they work, tries everything in his literal infinite power to help his son bag the goddamn cat but somehow still struggles because his son keeps making the dumbest decisions imaginable.

Ameth continued to scream as he plummeted towards the ground at great speed. Again, what else could he have done in this moment, seemingly abandoned by who/whatever was contained in that capsule?
As he fell, his eyes still closed, he could see his life flash before his eyes. A swadled and cradled newborn, lips gently pressing against his forehead. Laughter and words of encouragement audible all around him as he stumbled across a carpet on unsure legs. Gleeful screams sounded, being chased by his older siblings. An unsure grip on his shirt as a great dragon of a whale erupted from the sands, menacing the ship he boarded. Raw terror flowing through his veins as he confronted a dark beast, its infectous wings flowing in the wind. His eyes nearly blinded by that same monster after shedding its black shell, shining like a second sun.
Soon, regret and tears began to well. In his mind he apologised to his parents for having been such a rambunctious child. He apologised to his older sisters for never listening to them. He apologised to his sibling for almost ruining their career and getting them sent to some backwater village. He apologised to his younger sister for eating her favourite food she was saving for later. And he apologised to his dearest friend for having always gotten on her nerves.
Then, like divine intervention, something grabbed his arm and yanked him out of his thoughts and out of harm's rapidly-approaching way. His screaming rose several pitches as it happened, he could barely process what was happening! His eyes were still shut tight as it all transpired, of course, but he was almost taken aback when he found his hands holding onto something soft and fluffy, fur-like, in a death grip.
Barely a second later and he landed on solid ground, flat onto his face. The fact that he was not a splattered mess across the dirt took a moment to set in; slowly he liftted his face off the ground and opened his amethyst eyes. His throat was tied into knots and raw from the screaming, and he could not find his voice even after looking up at the other person(?) who, in his mind, was suddenly there before him.
It took Ameth an entire minute of staring and ragged breathing before he could finally croak, "... H... Hi...???"
A normal day, as any day should be when you run an entire nation full of monsters, humans, humanoids - all kinds of people. Though, to be fair? People falling out of the sky was weird, even for this fantasy world. It hadn't even been Rimuru who had noticed the comet of person streaking down from the far up sky - it had been Souei, who immediately told Rimuru. Rimuru who now stood at a precipice of one of the higher parts of the main capital, cold-silver hair a definite blue in the sunlight.
" Ranga. " He called, and from his shadow came a great dire wolf, who looked all too happy to be there.
" Yes, master! " It spoke back, though its mouth did not move.
" Whatever this thing coming towards us is, person or not, we need to catch it. Uh, Fetch, I guess. " The wolf lowered itself, and in a a moment the blue haired human melted down, clothes and all, into a small blue slime that settled itself along his scruff. " C'mon. Team Rocket isn't gonna save itself! "
With a great push, and a lot of wind, the wolf launched itself upward with great speed - up to meet the thing that they could both see was definitely human.
" Ranga, lean! " Within a moment, the slime reached, and in one motion, reached out with human hands and gripped tight to the arms of the falling human. He pulled, once again human in form, until he could get the human up behind him on the wolf's back. At once, he ordered them down, and Ranga alighted ground with a great rush, using the wind created by the combination of the fall and his return to his Sovereign's shadow, to cushion their decent to a feather light --
Nope, nevermind... They both still fell a good few feet straight into the ground. But it's better than hundreds??

LOVESICK
Veldora x Reader
summary ☆ bro is down bad!!
─────────────୨ৎ─────────────
Veldora was never one for subtlety. When he liked something—or in this case, someone—he made sure everyone knew. And lately, all of Tempest knew exactly how Veldora felt about you, except for one person: you.
It started innocently enough. Veldora’s usual loud greetings became extra loud whenever you entered the room.
“Ahahaha! (Y/N), you have arrived! What a joyous day it is, made even brighter by your presence!” he’d declare, flexing his muscles for no apparent reason. Everyone around would roll their eyes or sigh, having gotten used to the dragon’s enthusiasm for showing off.
But you? You just laughed, brushing it off like it was typical Veldora behavior. “You’re so funny, Veldora. Always so full of energy.”
Veldora blinked. Funny? That wasn’t what he was going for at all. Didn’t you notice the extra care he was putting into everything for you? When he crafted that massive stone statue in your honor (which definitely ruined Tempest’s main square for a while), you just thanked him like he’d made you a little trinket.
“Wow, Veldora! That’s... impressive! Thanks!” You smiled brightly, completely unaware of the chaos it had caused behind the scenes.
“Doesn’t (Y/N) see that Veldora’s really into them?” Shuna whispered to Rimuru one day as they watched Veldora trailing after you like a puppy, constantly offering to do things for you. “I’ve never seen him like this.”
Meanwhile, Rimuru, Shion, and the rest of the gang groaned as they tried to figure out how to fix the destruction. Even the construction crew had to halt all other work just to clean up the mess.
Rimuru sighed, crossing his arms. “Nope, completely oblivious. It’s painful to watch.”
It only got worse.
Whenever you visited, Veldora’s attempts at impressing you became more and more extreme. One time, he tried to cook for you, which resulted in half the kitchen exploding. Thankfully, Shuna managed to save the day, but the whole ordeal made the kitchen staff beg for mercy.
“I—It’s just that my love for (Y/N) burns so brightly!” Veldora exclaimed, arms dramatically thrown into the air as the kitchen staff threw panicked glances at each other.
“But it’s literally burning everything down!” Rimuru muttered, shaking his head.
To make matters even more awkward, Veldora began hovering around you at every opportunity. He’d pop up out of nowhere, ready to offer his “mighty dragon assistance” for even the simplest of tasks.
“Need help carrying that fruit? I can crush the orchard with one hand!” he’d say proudly, flexing again.
“That’s okay, I got it, Veldora,” you’d reply, giving him a light pat on the arm, completely missing the lovestruck look on his face.
Around him, the others weren’t so lucky. Everyone was forced to endure his constant bragging about how much he cared for you, with him going on for hours about how you were the most amazing person in all of Tempest.
“Did you know (Y/N) smiled at me today? Truly, I am blessed!” Veldora would shout, while poor Shion and Shuna exchanged tired glances, the other villagers barely able to get a word in.
Rimuru had had enough. “Veldora, I get that you have feelings, but the whole city doesn’t need to hear about it every five minutes!”
“But they must know how wonderful (Y/N) is!” Veldora declared. “They are my inspiration!”
Rimuru pinched the bridge of his nose. “For the love of all things peaceful, just tell (Y/N) already! We’re all suffering here!”
But Veldora was too shy to do that directly. Despite all his boasting, when it came to you, his heart raced too fast, and his usual boldness vanished.
So instead, the citizens of Tempest continued to bear the brunt of his lovesick antics.
One day, while the townsfolk were cleaning up after another of Veldora’s “grand gestures” (this time, a giant garden of roses planted right in front of the town hall, blocking the entrance), you walked up to him, smiling as always.
“Veldora, this garden is so beautiful! You really didn’t have to go through all this trouble for me,” you said, oblivious as ever to his true intentions.
Veldora blushed—an unusual sight for the mighty dragon. “O-Of course! Anything for you, (Y/N)! I—uh... I mean, it was no trouble at all! Just a small display of my greatness!”
Rimuru, watching from the sidelines, facepalmed. “How much longer are we going to have to deal with this?” he muttered, as Shuna giggled beside him.
And so, life in Tempest continued with Veldora’s over-the-top affections, while you remained blissfully unaware, leaving everyone else to suffer.

Rimurugender / Slimegender
Bezeichnung(en):
Rimurugender
Slimegender
Definition:
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime.
Assoziierte Symbolik:
Farben: sanftes Blau, Lila, durchsichtiges Weiß
Formen: Tropfen, Herzen, Kreise, Schleimformen
Themen: Wandelbarkeit, Chaos, Sanftheit, Selbstakzeptanz
Varianten:

Hikari Raiden
Tumblr media
Normal
Tumblr media
Origin
Name: Hikari Raiden Origin Name: Izanami Title: Morpho Knight Race: Chaos Aspect Gender: Female Sexuality: Gay Age: Same age as Freyja Height: 6'5 Weapon of choice: Katana, odachi, bow, naginata, a variety of weapons really.
The one sister who doesn't bother making something not because she can't but more because Hikari doesn't want too. She lives for battle and spending time with her daughter. A storm will form wherever she draws a weapon as a sign of the battle that is about to begin. For her a good battle is all she truly needs. So she never saw herself as fit for ruling anything. She's also basically a wanderer without a proper home. Always seeking the next fight.
That said she's a rather friendly person when she isn't being a battle maniac because she sees no reason to settle down anywhere. Willing to teach people her ways and spar with anyone who asks her for a match. Its rare for her to consider anyone an enemy. But she has one due to where she technically lives.
She stays in the Mirror World being the one to earn the title of Morpho Knight there and in that world there's her, Dark Mind and Dark Meta Knight who she named Tsurugi Kusanagi. The three of them can fight for years on end because they don't need food, they don't need water and they don't need to sleep. All the three needs is to be the last one standing. It leads to their fights all being evenly matched.
Hikari usually in her normal form or her origin form, depends on her whim at the moment. But to keep up with her sisters use of Haken or the Ultras she created Heavenly Beast which she rarely uses anyway. Its fun but she found a different way to get the same effect. Drawing out all the power that goes into Heavenly Beast or her Origin Form and channeling it throughout her entire body resulting in her eyes turning gold and her gaining a golden aura the entire time. She's at her calmest and simultaneously her most battle crazed like this. So she can hold a casual conversation but she will attack you if given a reason.
She's only reason gone that far against three people. They are Dark Mind and Tsurugi due to their eternal battle and lastly Rimuru who can do something similar. But in the last one case its a friendly exchange of sword skills since they both lost their primary opponent due to them growing too strong.

Gigantic Watch, Read, and Play through post! LET'S GO!
Tumblr media
I've watched episodes 9-14 of Kakuranger and it has been a total blast! Love the cast, Seikai has some mixed episodes, but I find him fun, Saizou has been good, Jiraiya and Sasuke are awesome, and Tsuruhime definitely balances their chaos. Young Noble Junior is really cool, helps pick up the story, and the Youkai have been interesting or total bitches. Doctor Yugami continuing to returns helps too. It's a mix of silly and serious that works amazingly.
Tumblr media
Ultraman Leo 37 and 38 was crazy good. I mean 37 was a bit weird but it's kinda somber in the sense the Alien and Kaoru wanted to see someone who resembles who they lost. Gen and Dan are great as always. Damn, 38 took this show up to an 11. The Ultra Key is stolen, someone broke into the Land of Light, it's also crashing towards Earth. Astra stole the Key and now Leo and Seven are at odds with each other because they are both on the sides of their brothers and I can't blame either of them. Ace, Jack, Zoffy, and Ultraman are all great here, and the tension is through the roof! I can't wait for the next episode that continues this episode. The next episode was full of the most tension I've seen in an episode of Ultraman, seriously I didn't know if they were gonna save the Land of Light or not. Leo and Astra saved the day with Dan and MAC, it was glorious and Nerve-wracking. I love this series.
Tumblr media
Kinnikuman Perfect Chojin Arc has been absolutely wonderful lately, I love Kinnikuman fighting against Peek-a-Boo, that I got to see more previous moments that I didn't see like his training because I am a new fan. His using basic moves to win was great, I love seeing him overcome adversity; although, I debate the Tombstone Piledriver being a basic move lol. The Mountain fighting Budo was insane and I just love the Heart of the Akuma Chojin, they all have put on a show whether they win, lose, or draw. This show has all the elements I love from Wrestling, Superheroes, Sci-fi, and Fantasy.
Tumblr media
SHY season 2 has been fantastic I love the emotional storytelling between Ai and Mai, the Villains have been solid. That they gave a highlight to each hero this season was great. Doki vs Mian Long was great with how they are. I continue to love how Shy overcomes her fears and helps people by connecting with people. It feels kinda Superhero and Persona-esque this series and I love it so much. Stardust, Lady Black, and Spirit are all amazing too. Century is a neat addition too.
Tumblr media
Tower of God Season 2 been absolutely insane, I really love the new characters especially Kang, Wangnan, and the rest. Bam's change into Viole is unique and makes him more badass, it's crazy to see that 7 years as passed. I do miss the original characters but I'm intrigued with where this is going.
Tumblr media
That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime Season 3 continues to be glorious and fun in the Festival arc, I love the shenanigans and the world of it. Rimuru is so much fun and poor Gobta last episode.
Tumblr media
The Elusive Samurai, done by the creator of Assassination Classroom, has been a total blast with great characters. It reminds me of some elements of Assassination Classroom that I love. Tokiyuki is great, and the Elusive Warriors are all awesome, meeting each one of them is a lot of fun and great storytelling Genba, Fubuki, Kojiro, Ayako, and Shizuku. Yorishige is like Koro-Sensei in all the fun ways, also, with seeing the future making references to it is hilarious too. Love it.
Tumblr media
Ultraman Arc has been so freaking good! The last episode with Givas being a two parter makes me want to know what's going on with it! Yuma is fantastic learning that an Ultraman doesn't always have to fight/kill is wonderful and reminds me of X and Cosmos. SKIP is wonderful love them all, YouPi is fun, so is AbaRed lol I mean Ban is great, Rin is solid and I enjoy her episodes. Ichiro is interesting how he works for the defense force. The cast dynamic is once again wonderful here.
Tumblr media
Visions of Mana is an absolutely wonderful game with an incredible story and gameplay. The characters are super endearing here and the trauma they go through is something else. One of the deaths in the game is on the level of Aerith if not more so, because it hurt me a lot. The rideable animals are wonderful in this game like Vuscav! I love Vuscav and his theme. Morley, Palamena, Julei, Careena, Aesh, Val, and Hinna are all wonderful characters and I love them all so much. The world is so vast and the lore is great, I recommend this to everyone. The combat is so much fun and I love the transformations and class changes you can do, so much variety per character. Such a PEAK and glorious game.
Tumblr media
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, I just finished reading recently and it's like the title says absolutely WONDERFUL! I loved the movie since I was a kid, it was magical and full of Wonder, the book is even more magical. It gets going pretty quickly straight to Oz and collecting the characters. I think what I love in this is that it really showcases that the Scarecrow had brains all along, the Tin Man or Tin Woodsman had heart, and the Lion had Courage, they just didn't believe in themselves that they did. They acquire what Oz gives them sure, but they had those all along. It is randomly brutal at times lol, like it's fun and magical, then bam Tin Woodsman is cutting some thing's head off lol. I love a lot of things that happened in the original like Scarecrow being put in Charge of Oz, the Winged Monkeys having more lore to them, the Lion's acts of courage, Scarecrow acting invulnerable most of the time because nothing can hurt him but fire lol, Tin Woodsman's back story and how caring he is. There is so much magic to this book that, it's the fastest book I got through in years. I can't wait to read more of the books. 😊😊
Tumblr media
Star Trek Voyager I got into, and the cast is great it's slow in Season 1 so far, but everyone is enjoyable, and I like this take with Star Trek so far.
Tumblr media
Only Murders in the Building season 4 has been absolutely brilliant, I'm still trying to figure out the motive and the killers. Charles, Mabel, and Oliver are as wonderful as ever. I love this show so much, the writers are on their game this season.

Why do imagine when Natsu yells
“Hey Veldora!! Fight me!!”
As then a chaos is then coming out and Natsu ended up hurt like always typical and Erza would smack Natsu when she said “what were you thinking Natsu!?”
I can see Erza smacking the both of them for wrecking the guild, and both she and Rimuru have threatened Veldora not to fight in the guild and have threatened Natsu not to pick fights, or if he does to take it outside away from town.

Chaos Theory: Base plotline
After a million years, I finally write out more of this AU.
This is the loose description of the plot, basically the setting and the main factions at hand. This isn't all of the characters, but simply the main ones. And so:
Storyline
This story takes place in a world that has been split into three realms. First, there is the Realm of Light, a world where darkness is seen as evil and the ‘standard’ world. Then there is the Realm of Dark, a world where the flood of light devastated the planet and Darkness has been embraced. Lastly, there is the Realm of the Sky, created when Xande cut the world off from the sun with a flood of darkness: a realm in which travel across floating continents via airships is casual.
In the past, the third advent of the Warriors of Light led to Xande falling into a portal into the Realm of Dark. However, he instead fell into The Minus World – Betwixt and Between and a common hiding spot for the Chaos Emeralds. Xande would come to study the Chaos Emeralds and eventually came to a realization that Dr. Robotnik previously realized: That the rings and the Chaos Emeralds are connected. Xande would begin experimentation with the rings in hopes of discovering a means of regaining his immortality. In doing so, the strange space-time properties of the labyrinth result in dimensional rifts opening across different times and places of all three realms.
One of the people whose attention was caught by these rifts were the Warriors of Light. With the help of an airship gifted to them, they and Desch – an engineer friend – would travel into the rift and explore the Minus World. At the same time however, a group from the Realm of Dark arrived – An entity that goes by the name of “Dark Matter” and his enigmatic leader, simply known as “The Director”. The two parties would encounter each other, leading to a fierce struggle. With their backs to the wall, the Warriors of Light, mistaking a giant emerald for THE controller of the Chaos Emeralds, attempts to use it against the dark forces.
The Emerald does channel life energy into them. However, the resulting energy is unfiltered and without restraint. The result shatters the Warriors of Light, scattering their light across the labyrinth and leaving their bodies in a living, yet decimated state. By contrast, the Director and Dark Matter manage to flee, but are injured and retreat, leaving their operations to three underlings: The Dark Trio (Rimura, Rimuru, Rimuro). Xande has taken notice and managed to collect cells of the Warriors of Light, allowing him to bolster his ranks with clones of his arch-enemies. At some point during the commotion, the original bodies of the Warriors of Light seem to have vanished… or have they?
Meanwhile, rifts are bringing people into the labyrinth. Some are adventurers, interested in the secrets of the labyrinth. Others are travelers who have their own journeys and are simply wandering around. And some are superpower nations that also seek the secrets of the Labyrinth… so that they can use them to conquer the realms, both their own and beyond.
Chaos is sure to follow...
The basic groups are as follows:
The Adventurers: A group of Adventurers who have stumbled into the Minus World. Seeking treasures or answers, they quickly get involved in the dangerous game at hand. There’s also the matter of the Blue Rogues, as well as a certain boy with a destructive power who ends up getting a second chance at life… (Mag Launcher & Linear Cannon, Rock Volnutt, Knuckles the Echidna, Shade the Procurator, Alex Kidd, Stella of Nibana)
The Imperial Forces (temp name. Maybe): A joint alliance between the Koopa Kingdom, the Eggman Empire, the Valua Empire and the 8th Imperial Army. They mobilize their forces to seek out the destructive forces hidden in the Minus World. (Bowser, Dr. Robotnik, Queen Teodora/Galcian, Eugene Leopold)
Demon King Xande & His Minions: The Demon King has survived his original demise and this time, he is determined to not only regain his immortality, but to surpass his creator. To that end, he bolsters his rank of clones - which already include copies of his fellow students/former friends - to include the Warriors of Light and later those who have found their way into the Minus World. However, Xande’s attention is so laser focused on the avenues to accomplish his goals that he may not understand the forces he is messing with… including his own clones. (Xande, Doga's Clone, Unei's Clone)
The Dark Matter: A race of dark cloudike aliens. In the past, they sought to cover the world in darkness and were summoned by Xande’s actions. The Warriors of Light managed to banish them to the Realm of Darkness and they haven’t been seen in the Realm of Light since. Coincidentally, a group of dark cloud-like creatures appeared in ancient past of the Realm of Darkness and aided the Warriors of Dark in stopping the Flood of Light. Even today, they host the people of the light-corrupted world on their numerous air fortresses… (Dark Matter, “The Director”)
The Warriors of Light: A group of Warriors who have constantly manifested in response to the balance of Light and Dark tipping too far in favor of the latter. One particular iteration, from “The Legend of the Eternal Wind” fable, are said to have fought Xande in the past. Strangely, sightings of these Warriors have been reported in the Minus World, even after Dark Matter and "the Director" claim to have seen them die and four massive structures appeared shortly after the time that the two claimed the event happened… (Luneth, Arc, Refia, Ingus, Onion Knight)
The Warriors of Light?: While Xande’s clones usually have little to no free will or personality, there are exceptions. Five of those exceptions are the Warriors of Blight: A group of five who rule over different structures within the Minus World. They initially seem to be following Xande’s orders, but seem to have their own plans…
These are not the only characters, but they are the ones who set the stage...

Ah shit, here we go again...
Autism strikes again. I got obsessed with this one Poppy Playtime AU. It's @onyxonline Space Rider AU, so I decided to create the six true dragons for this AU.
Just in case you cannot read the writing (My hand got tired lmao) I'll put some facts here. Also, kinda rushed the drawings since it's so late, so I apologize for the lack of details and spelling errors.
The True Dragons in this AU are members of a Royal family from a planet known as Central. Each member has a special power, these are more powerful than most other abilities.
However, these abilities come with the cost of being really hard to control. High risk, High reward type of stuff. They also can live for a stupidly long time (As long as they don't die lmao.) Most of them are also really arrogant, which is exploited a lot by both their friends and foes.
They are also all known to be hot too, lol.
(Star King Dragon) Veldanava:
-He's the King of Planet Central
-He's the Eldest of his six siblings
-He was 100,000 years old
-He has a wife and daughter (Lucia and Milim)
-He's dead as fuck lmao (He was killed by the Prototype and Ivarage) (lmao get rekt scrub)
-He lost all his power to ensure his planet would thrive
Special Power: Uriel (The Power to create White Holes)
(Weakness of Power: Overuse can cause him to implode)
(White Ice Dragon) Velzard:
-She's the Second Eldest of her six siblings
-She's the Queen of Planet Eternal Winter
-She's the partner of King Guy Crimson
-She's 20,000 years old
Special Power: Cthulhu (The Power to Decelerate)
(Weakness of Power: The power to decelerate greatly burdens her mind, overuse could cause permanent brain damage)
(Scorch Dragon) Velgrynd:
-She's the Third Eldest of her six siblings
-She's a total simp for Emperor Rudra
-She's the Empress of Planet Nasca
-She's 4,000 years old
Special Power: Cthugha (The Power to Accelerate)
(Weakness to Power: The power to Accelerate involves high temperature, overuse may cause her to combust)
(Storm Dragon) Veldora Tempest:
-He's the Third Youngest of his six siblings
-He's an Otaku and a Slacker
-He's terrified of his sisters
-He's the Guardian of Tempest
-He's a Space Rider only because Velsura is
-He's 2,000 years old
-He's the dumbest one
-"Rawr" >:3
Special Power: Nyralathotep (The Power of Chaos)
(Weakness of Power: The power of Chaos is hard to control, losing focus may cause more harm than good)
(Void King Dragon) Velsura "Rimuru" Tempest:
-He's the Second Youngest of his six siblings
-He's probably the most responsible member of the six
-He's the King of Planet Tempest
-He's a Space Rider
-His Space Rider Squad is known as "Octagram"
-He's incredibly cautious (To the point of being a weakness)
-Has a *cough* thing for Elves
-He's 37 years old
-Arguably the hottest of his siblings
-Keeps getting mistaken for a girl (Much to his chagrin)
Special Power: Azathoth (The Power of Black Holes and shit)
(Weakness of Power: *Sarcastically* Well would you look at that, black holes are hard to control, who would've thought?)
(Earth Emperor Dragon) Velgaia
-He's the youngest of his six siblings
-He's the most adorable member of the true dragons
-He's a Space Rider
-He's 18 years old
-Freeloader lmao
-He's the one that gets smacked around a lot by others
-Stop bullying him :(
Special Power: Cronos (The Powers of Earth and Shit)
(Weakness: He's the youngest and has very little control over his powers, he can only do very basic moves) (So much so nobody knows what the true drawbacks to his powers are yet)
Oh yeah, I failed to mention. None of them are powerful enough to beat the Prototype, he’s far stronger than them.

The Stalwart's Defiance: Shattered Silence
Part XIII: The Scars of Worlds
Chapter 30: The Unfamiliar Familiar
The worn rug beneath Kayleigh was blessedly, achingly real. The scent of old paper, lemon polish, and the faint, ever-present dampness of her Chichester flat filled her lungs – a perfume of mundane safety. She lay there for a long moment, the adrenaline slowly ebbing, leaving behind a bone-deep weariness and a throbbing pain in her left ankle.
Gingerly, she sat up. Her flat was exactly as she’d left it – or rather, as she’d been snatched from it. A half-finished cup of tea sat on the small table, a layer of dust now coating its surface. Her laptop was open, the forum discussing the Falmuth massacre still on screen, a bitter irony that made her stomach churn.
Her ankle was a mess. The fabric of her trousers was singed and torn around it. Dark, angry burns, mixed with a deep, bleeding gash, marked where Diablo’s shadowy tendril had grazed her and where the collapsing edge of the portal had sliced. It was a painful, visceral reminder that her escape had been by the narrowest of margins.
Her phone. It lay a few feet away, screen dark. With a surge of anxiety, she crawled towards it, ignoring the protest from her injured leg. She picked it up, her fingers trembling. It felt… normal. Cool to the touch. No hum, no light. Had the final, defiant burst of energy drained it? Was the soul within gone?
She pressed the power button. The screen flickered, then lit up with her familiar Chichester background – a slightly blurry photo of the cathedral. Relief, so potent it was almost dizzying, washed over her. It still worked. But the unique interface, the shield icon, the translation module… were they still there? She swiped, her heart pounding. The familiar apps were there, but the special icons, the ones that had defined her existence in Rimuru’s world, were gone.
A new, cold dread seeped in. Had the soul expended itself in that final act of protection and escape? Was it… spent? The thought was unexpectedly painful. That silent, sentient presence had been her only true ally.
Chapter 31: The Empty Throne Room
Back in Tempest, the research room was a scene of controlled chaos. The lingering scent of ozone from Kayleigh’s portal was sharp in the air. Rimuru Tempest stood amidst the now-useless scientific apparatus, his face a mask of cold fury. Diablo, for once, was not smiling. A faint trace of demonic energy still clung to the spot where his tendril had been repulsed.
"She's gone," Rimuru stated, the words flat and dangerous. "And the artifact with her."
Raphael’s voice echoed in his mind, devoid of emotion. <<Analysis: The dimensional signature is untraceable. The method of travel appears to be intrinsically linked to the user's unique emotional resonance with the artifact's core spiritual energy. Replication without the original artifact and the specific soul signature is currently impossible.>>
"Impossible?" Rimuru’s voice was dangerously soft. "Nothing is impossible, Raphael. It is merely a problem we have yet to solve."
Vesta and his team stood by, pale and silent, acutely aware of their Demon Lord’s displeasure. Their meticulously planned research, their attempts to control and understand the phenomenon, had been utterly circumvented by the raw, desperate will of their subject.
"The woman showed… remarkable resilience," Diablo commented, his voice regaining its usual smoothness, though a harder edge remained. "And the artifact itself… its defensive capabilities were more potent than anticipated, particularly its reaction to direct demonic influence."
Rimuru’s gaze swept the room. Kayleigh Morgan, the Otherworlder who had defied him, who had dared to call him a tyrant, had not only escaped his grasp but had taken with her a device of unimaginable potential. The security implications were immense. An individual with magic immunity, possessing an artifact capable of dimensional travel, now loose and unaccounted for, was a variable he could not afford.
"Increase all border patrols, both physical and magical," Rimuru commanded. "Scan for any unusual dimensional fluctuations, however minor. While Raphael deems her untraceable now, that may not always be the case. And Diablo…"
"My lord?"
"If an opportunity ever arises… retrieve the artifact. The woman is secondary, but the device… Tempest must understand it, or ensure no one else can wield it against us."
The loss was a bitter pill. Kayleigh Morgan had not only challenged his actions but had ultimately proven too slippery to hold. Her quiet war of dissent might be over in Tempest, but the questions she had raised, the uncomfortable reflections she had forced upon him, lingered like an unwelcome echo in his new world order.
Chapter 32: The Lingering Echoes
Back in her Chichester flat, Kayleigh managed to hobble to the bathroom. Cleaning her injured ankle under the running tap was agony, but necessary. The burn felt deep, and the gash would undoubtedly need stitches. A trip to A&E was unavoidable. How would she explain this? A bizarre accident with… what? A faulty appliance?
As she bandaged her ankle crudely with a clean tea towel, her gaze fell again on the phone, now charging on her bedside table. She picked it up, her thumb hovering over the screen. If the special interface was gone, did that mean the soul was truly dormant, or had it… moved on, its purpose fulfilled?
Hesitantly, she tried to focus, to project that familiar sense of needing protection, the way she had countless times in Tempest. Nothing. No shimmer, no hum, no comforting sense of the shield’s presence.
A profound sense of loss, surprisingly sharp, pierced through her relief at being home. The soul in the phone, the dying Falmuth soldier, had been more than just a power source. It had been a companion, a silent protector, a testament to a choice made in desperation.
Her life in Chichester, once a predictable rhythm of work, bills, and Grendel’s chaotic intrusions , now felt irrevocably altered. How could she return to worrying about overdue library books or Grendel’s latest scheme to avoid homework when she had faced down a Demon Lord, debated the ethics of mass slaughter, and wielded power beyond human comprehension?
The moral compass she had always carried felt heavier now, tested in fires she could never have imagined. The world of Rimuru Tempest, with its stark choices and devastating consequences, had left an indelible mark on her soul, much like the scar now forming on her ankle.
She looked at the phone again. Even without its otherworldly powers, it was a link to that experience, a reminder of the conviction she had found within herself. Perhaps the soul wasn't gone, but merely resting, its energy depleted. Or perhaps its journey was truly over.
A sudden, jarring thought: Grendel. What would Grendel make of all this? The idea of a real, magic-wielding, dimension-hopping nemesis would probably thrill her to no end, far more than their usual frying-pan-based altercations. Kayleigh almost managed a weak smile.
The immediate future was uncertain. She had an injury to explain, a life to reclaim. But one thing was clear: Kayleigh Morgan, the woman who had been unwillingly transported to the world of Rimuru Tempest, had returned. And she was not entirely the same person who had left. The echoes of that other world, and the choices made there, would resonate for a long time to come. And the phone, now seemingly ordinary, lay on her nightstand, a silent keeper of extraordinary secrets.

Rimuru: are you alright Lord Phantom you seem distracted
Danny: oh sorry Lord Rimuru, I just left my kids with their stepbrother and I’m a bit nervous.
Rimuru: what’s to be nervous about?
Danny: Dani is chaos incarnate and has incurable wanderlust. Dan can and will murder anything that pisses him off. They are both fight nuts and their stepbrother is a squishy human.
Rimuru *takes a deep sip of tea and looks at all his subordinates* I feel your pain.
Danny *rests his head on the table* uggh
Rimuru: how about we make a deal. You give me access to all the manga in your dimension and sole rights to distribute them in this dimension and I will agree to all the other terms.
Danny: … I’ll take it *signs contract and portals home*
Veldora: does this mean…
Rimuru: yes, more sacred texts
Veldora: do you possibly think …
Rimuru: Lord Phantom and I shall discuss anime at our next negotiation.

A/N: I saw a post with a comment that Dan chronological wise is ten years old according to a wiki, I haven't seen it myself but I decided to run with it for this anyway.
It was supposed to be a normal morning but that got quickly interrupted by a long drawn out shout of 'Bruce' and a white and black blur suddenly flying though their ceiling right at Bruce. Two out of four present bat-kids instantly sprang up from their chairs into defense positions and with drawn weapons. The other two only arched an eyebrow before turning their attention back to their breakfast with a suppressed laugh, they had seen that black and white blur often enough during their times as Robin.
Damian glared at his older brothers as he stood with drawn throwing knives while Tim after a second of realization sighed, righten his chair from the ground and sat only slightly embarrassed at how Dick and Jason laughed.
Hovering above their breakfast table with his hands on Bruce's shoulder was now Phantom also known as Danny Nightingale, looking completely frazzled. The source of the yell as well as white and black blur from seconds ago.
"Bruce! I need your help! Please! I can't ask Jazz because she is busy and I sure as hell won't ask Trenchcoat. I don't think Supes can handle them and you're like the only one else I could think of to ask! Bruce, please!"
None of the bat kids really knew how long exactly Bruce had known Phantom. The man had only recently admitted to personally knowing the Ghost Hero when Nightwing had caught Phantom collapsing onto Batman and de-transforming and Batman handling it like that hadn't been the first time. They only knew that he had been an unofficial member of Justice League Dark and was the one that helped Jason with his Pit Madness as well as came to visit every now and then as Danny. What they had learned additionally from Alfred was that Phantom was the adopted son of Alfred's old friend and that when Bruce had been younger, he often came to visit or to hang out with them to escape his own family drama.
The bat-kids had figured out that way that Bruce and Danny were probably something akin to childhood friends that both also worked in the hero buisness.
Either way no one was in danger and so they watched on with curiosity as to what Phantom wanted. So far the Ghost Hero was still rambling on and on about something he couldn't entrust to anyone other than Bruce, while their father was leisurely taking a sip from his coffee completely pokerfaced like he was used to the other man rambling at him like that.
"Danny." Bruce finally cut in as the other was about to restart his entire plea for help. "World ending or personal."
The white haired man blinked as he finally floated to the side and let his reformed feet touch the ground. "Both? Sort of?"
Bruce grunted, the universal sigh for the other man to elaborate and the children payed attention interested on what was going on.
"I have a diplomatic meeting with the Tempest Dimension. One of their Demon Lords discovered that interdimensional travel is actually possible by having created a portal when he tried to teleport somewhere in their Dimension. I can't take Dani and Dan with me for this, the last time I allowed them to accompany me they nearly caused a dimensional war. Clockwork doesn't want to watch them, Jazz is to busy trying her newest psychological tortur- I mean therapy on Joker and I can't make the fruitloop watch them since both Dan and Dani swore they would wreck havoc if I leave them with him during football season."
Bruce arched an eyebrow and Danny pinched the bridge of his nose. "Yea I know, but last time Trenchcoat watched them he nearly sold his soul again to never ever babysit them again. And Clark is too nice to watch them, they will use it against him."
Bruce hummed. "How old are they now?"
"Five and ten body wise since the assimilation process with their bodies finished a couple years ago. They should start normal aging soon."
The bat-kids exchanged confused, disturbed and partially horrified looks at what the two men were talking about. There were so many questions they had. They were wondering if they could make Bruce talk about his childhood and get some information about Phantom that way. Tim had attempted researching him once and barely found anything besides some disturbing information about a haunted tourist town called Amity Park that was Phantom's territory.
"Bruce! Please! They have a dragon with a human body in that dimension! I just know that Dan or Dani will attempt to fight him!" Suddenly an idea popped in Dicks head and exchanged a glance with his siblings, checking if they had similar thoughts.
"We could watch them!" Dick then piped up, this was their chance to find out more about Phantom and his relationship with their dad.
Wide green eyes blinked at Dick and for a moment he felt like he had made a grave mistake, especially as he noticed Jason was sneaking away now like he decided he did not want to be part of any of this. Which is fair but come on, this was their chance.
"Are you sure?" Phantom questioned him carefully, side eyeing Bruce who was still calmly sipping his coffee and gave phantom a slight nod.
"You said five and ten, right? How bad can it be watching kids their age! They can even hang out with me and Dami!"
"Do not involve me-" Damian's complaint was shushed by Tim stuffing a pancake in the others mouth, earning him a death glare from their youngest but it was good to know that at least one of them was on his side with this plan.
This time Danny exchanged a full on look with their father, it appeared like they were silently talking. Something Dick doesn't really remember Bruce doing with anyone in the way he saw it right now.
"Well if you say so…" Phantom slowly agreed before reaching with his hand into a green portal pulling out a heavy looking bag. "This is the medicine box. If either of them look the slightest bit melty use the syringes in here. That's ecto-dejecto and basically ghost medicine for them. Though for emergencies there is a portal amulet that leads right to Frostbite."
The bat-kids looked stunned at what Danny was holding up before putting it back into the medical box and pulling out a silver green thermos front he bag. "If Dan misbehaves in any way or form use this to put him in time out. Just point the open Thermos in his direction and press the button down here. Pressing the button again will release him, but if he misbehaves to the point of having to use the thermos you can leave him in there until I pick them up again."
They knew that Phantom wasn't completely human but was that normal parenting? Hadn't they seen him use that thermos on enemies of the JLD before? And he was using it to discipline his kids?
"They know better than to overshadow anyone to get their will but in case one of them does, these bracelets should keep you safe from it. Otherwise call Bruce, he is one of the four and a half adults they listen to too."
"Is all of that really necessary? I am just babysitting them right?" Dick asked, still a bit stunned as Phantom handed him the bag.
"Yes. I never said it would be easy." The man only answered before opening another portal and sticking his head through for a brief moment.
A little girl of five hopped out of it a second later looking like a perfect copy of Danny Nightingale's human form, though what was more shocking was the hulk of a man with flaming hair coming through the portal growling and snarling at them as the grown man stood behind the girl with crossed arms. From the corner of his eyes Dick saw Phantom pinching the bridge of his nose. Before he floated over to the tall man and quite frankly pinched and pulled on that man's ear.
"Dan. Human-form now."
The man continued to growl and snarl for a moment with blazing red eyes before two white circles formed around his middle. A transformation they had seen a couple of times before from Phantom after Bruce had admitted to knowing him personally and introduced him as Danny.
Instead of the hulking beast of a man there was now a ten years old boy that looked surprisingly similar to Damian just lighter skinned and blue eyed. The boy still growled at them with his arms crossed while the little girl giggled. Damian was looking at the two with narrowed eyes before he turned his stare on Bruce.
"This is Dani and Dan." Danny introduced the two kids and Dick heard Tim mutter something about unoriginality when it came to naming. But before anyone else could comment on anything or even greet the kids an eyeball appeared out of thin air. The ghost hero and his kids looked at it for a moment before the man sighed dismissing it with a wave of his hand.
"I have to go now! Dani, Dan behave and play nice. If anything goes wrong Bruce has my emergency summoning pendant!" A second later Phantom disappeared through the portal the kids had come in, the little girl, Dani, gleefully shouting a quick "Bye mom!" Before the portal closed.
There was a moment of silence before Damian decided to break it. "Father, I believe there is something you have failed to inform us about."
"And that would be?"
"The existence of blood related siblings you have sired with Phantom."

crush on your mind - omake
(read on ao3)
Gobta walked the corridors of the western palace, trying to calm his pounding heart. He had an appointment with Rimuru that afternoon– or rather, he had been summoned to drop by "whenever he wanted," as Rimuru had casually mentioned. The thought filled him with terror. What could his leader possibly want to discuss with him? Did he do something wrong, and now Lord Rimuru wanted to punish him? Gobta couldn't help but leap to negative conclusions, and his nerves were getting the best of him.
Approaching the door of Rimuru's study, Gobta raised a trembling hand and knocked once, then twice. He waited for what felt like the longest minute of his life, but there was no response from behind the door. Knocking again, he waited– then he did it again, and again. But when there still was no response, an ominous foreboding crept into the goblin: something was wrong
Drawing his sword from its sheath, Gobta grasped the handle with a quivering hand. Cautiously, he opened the door, fully expecting the worst. And what he found inside confirmed his worries. Rimuru's study resembled a chaotic battleground—sheets soaked in ink were strewn across the desk and floor; one of the sofas had broken legs, while the other had torn upholstery and exposed stuffing; books lay scattered on the ground, their wooden shelves shattered.
Gobta stood there, stunned by the chaos, his mind momentarily blank. Then, he shook himself into motion, and sprung to his feet to look for help. Just as he turned the corner, he nearly collided with the oni princess but narrowly evaded her by slipping into his own shadow. Emerging at her side, Gobta found Lady Shuna only mildly taken aback– after all, she was more than familiar with his shadow technique.
Wasting no time, he immediately told her, "Lady Shuna, Lord Rimuru is in danger!"
Her gasp caused the teacups on the tray she carried to rattle. "In danger, you say? But how?  I saw him only five minutes ago..."
As if to prove her right, the sound of footsteps slapping against the wooden floor reached their ears. They both turned to see Rimuru approaching. Gobta immediately noticed the shirt he wore—long enough to cover him, but far too revealing– not to mention his disheveled hair.
"Lord Rimuru," Shuna exclaimed, surprise evident in her voice, "I was on my way to your room."
Rimuru waved his hand, taking the tray from her. "I met you halfway, it's all good."
He turned to Gobta, a sheepish smile forming on his face. "Oops, sorry... We had a meeting today, right?"
Gobta simply nodded, his gaze fixed on the reddish hue of Rimuru's cheeks. Since when did slimes blush?
"I'm sure we can reschedule for another day," Rimuru said, addressing Shuna. "Right?"
She nodded politely. "Of course," she replied, "As long as..."
But Rimuru was already rushing off. "Thanks, Shuna! You're the best!"
Approaching a nearby room, a booming laughter emanated from within as soon as he opened the door. Rimuru hushed the laughter before closing the door behind him.
A silence settled between Gobta and Shuna, the former still reeling from the entire ordeal. Eventually, he turned to the kijin and said, "So… that's still going on, huh?"
Her smile twitched slightly. "Apparently."
Uncertain if he should, Gobta's hand moved instinctively, patting Shuna on the shoulder.
"My condolences."

I mean, who doesn't simp for that chaotic overdramatic dude at least a little bit? His sadistic tendencies just add to the "villain will sacrifice the world to save you" vibe, always being his priority, second only to his master. But if we are his master, then...😏
Right? Such a dream boat, what a chaos lad.
Diablo will gladly burn nations for his lord.
How far will he go? Rimuru knows, and Diablo himself knows as well. What he will sacrifice to carry out loyalties and prove further his devotion to Rimuru isn't a mystery, as Diablo isn't afraid to make it apparent or as crystal clear as need be. An apex predator with the clear cover of a demonic gentleman and butler, with a lot darker mystery bubbling under the waves of his sea, aura and overall actions. One should never lower their guard around Diablo, as Benimaru himself points out to his lord. Honestly Diablo is really messed up, Noir was even more so.
Is Diablo himself if not?
Diablo is clearly desperate to be useful, and even more determined to not lose more than what he had. Serve and protect what he deems perfect and precious. He wants orders, longs to excel in usefulness. Because what is Diablo without power? Without a source of pride? Without purpose and a strive for change? Emotions and connections are powerful stuff, as is his eternal loyalty to his master. A butler-the ultimate fiend-hurries to answer his lord's beck and call, never anything less. Done in earnest with elegance, does what he does to tidy. If you're his master, Diablo strives to deliver perfection. He prides himself in returning pass then exceptional results, prove his worth and power. The master, the only one worthy of his vast demonic strength and knowledge, deserves no less. So, perfection is what you will get.
Cut and clear, you'll get it. One way or another.
Shit is finished, no parades with a point across. Countries will bow their knees to his beloved master, fear their power and shiver. Promise their devotion, bestow the respect the great master obviously deserves.
One of the many things I adore about Diablo; he isn't blind to what nor whom he is. In the book especially. He owns up to it, sometimes casting aside his own ambitions; admitting flaws and correcting mistakes as usual mature adults do. Even such an incredibly powerful being like Diablo isn't immune to the wrathful erosion of time, theres always room for growth and change in life, his contract with Rimuru insights it. Give criticism and Diablo may even nod along, no disagreement or denial. Callous natured, clean and mean in carrying out his duties. Rough, tough and shameless to show such.
In the manga, its clear as well. The violence is shown for what it is, Diablo isn't a person for the lighthearted, the evil shows and the darkness follows. Reasons or no reasons, morals or no morals, serious or not serious. Blood, trauma, war; hits hard like it should. Reflected emotionally and physically, from interesting perspectives, even the more humorous ones aren't totally stepped over.
Rimuru's whole main character arc is how he deals with his inhuman side and how he approaches others about it, how he uses his new self to conquer the struggles of a new monstrous life far away from his human one with his allies.

Dark Matter
Tumblr media
What does one say about this species? They're beings made of darkness and negative energy, with only the higher ranking members gaining a physical form giving them access to the powers of chaos. They invade planets, cover them in darkness and make them uninhabitable to all but but their own species. Their only weakness is light and positive emotions but the higher ranking members managed to overcome the former weakness. The latter on the other hand? They still aren't fond of positive emotions being weaponized against them. Since the more people hate them, the stronger they get. They are a race that thrives off negative energy. Because of this they made alliances with some of the other villains in the Chaosverse and tend to cause trouble across the multiverse.
The Highest ranking members are Zero, Lilith, Dark Rimura, Dark Rimuro and the mysterious Miracle Matter. Rimuru used to be apart of the group but has since parted ways with them due to his entire race changing. Leaving the five leaders stuck wondering how to get in touch with him when he's better for something compared to them. After all, not like they're above alliances with their enemies.
They're on good terms with the Mechanization Foundation. So the two groups will work together occasionally.
